PowerPoint Project...Part 3!


Expectations:

C: Voice Level 2 (only the people next to you can hear you and no shouting across the room)

H: Ask your team, elbow partner or raise hand

A: Work on the assignment

S: Finishing your work

Typing.com ASSIGNMENT!

Beginner: T, S and L Keys :: Due Friday, October 1 :: 10 Points

Typing:

1. Log in to typing.com

2. Click Lessons

3. On Beginner Tab, Click Beginner: T, S and L Keys (this is due Friday, October 1): 10 Pts.

4. Begin Typing (Please DO NOT GO PAST THIS LESSON! It will RESET if you do!)

NOTE!!! No late TYPING will be accepted!!!!

If you are finished or waiting, work on Clever!

  1. Students click on the Clever icon on the desktop

  2. Sign in using the username & password (same as logging into computer)

  3. Click on the square that says iReady

  4. Continue until time is up!

Lessons have been assigned to them based on their diagnostic test results both in Math and Reading. Within each lesson are brain break games. The district is pushing a goal of 45 minutes per week on Online Lessons in ELA and 45 minutes per week in Math to close the gaps found in the diagnostic. Math and ELA are providing some of that time during the week, but not all.

or click the icon on your desktop!

On the left, select Class Notebook

Click on Your Name

Then select EXIT JOURNAL

Select the week we are working on (10-1-21)

Start typing! Write 5 sentences on what we have learned or done this week!


ASSIGNMENT! Part 3!

Creating a PowerPoint about your 2021 Classes!

Due Friday, October 1, 2021 :: 50 Points!

Let's create a PowerPoint using ALL of the items we have already learned!

INSTRUCTIONS!

Start with a NEW BLANK PowerPoint! (Or choose a template it is up to you!)

We are going to create a Cover Slide (Title Page) and ONE slide for each class you have this semester! (So you will have 9 slides total!)

The easiest way to begin is...

  • Go to www.office.com click ONE DRIVE

  • Select your Intro to Tech folder...+NEW...PowerPoint!

  • Select +NEW Blank Presentation (this will auto save to your OneDrive!)

  • Start building!

  • First, select a design you like (it can be changed but remember sometimes it will alter your text/photo placements)

  • Create 9 blank slides (a cover/title slide...then one for EACH CLASS)

  • Use the "My Classes 2021" MicroSoft Word Document you created to copy and paste text on each class slide

  • Change the font and/or font color

  • Give each slide a title (like Period 1: English); Make the font a different size!

  • Add the photos you saved to each appropriate slide

  • Add animations and transitions to each slide

  • Click the Slide Show tab and play the slide show from beginning. Does it do what you want it to do?

  • Does the project meet the criteria below?

CRITERIA... PER SLIDE!

  • EACH slide MUST have ONE (1) photo or graphic (clip art) ...but you can have more than 1!

  • The presentation MUST have a font different than the default font/color (that means change the font!)

  • Each slide MUST have one paragraph about the class period and not have any spelling or grammar errors (no squiggly red lines!)

  • Each slide must have a transition from one slide to the next

  • The presentation must have a design applied to it!

GRADING = 50 points!

  • 8 class slides = 8 points (1 point per slide, slides CANNOT be blank!)

  • One (1) Photo per slide = 8 points (1 point per slide)

  • Text (paragraph/5 sentences) per slide with no errors = 8 points (1 point per slide)

  • Transition from one slide to the next = 8 points (1 point per slide)

  • Design applied to presentation = 8 points (1 point per slide)

  • Turning it in on TEAMS = 10 Points!!

NOTE: This is worth 50 Points and you will TURN IN by attaching it to an assignment in TEAMS!!! Take your time!


NOTE: TAKE YOUR TIME, CHECK YOUR WORK! ASK YOUR NEIGHBOR TO LOOK AT IT ALSO!

Select PowerPoint Project! 2021

Click on The Paperclip/Attach at the bottom of the assignment page under MY WORK

Select ONE DRIVE

Select your Intro to Tech folder (where you should have created it!)

Select your PowerPoint (Hint: make sure you choose the PowerPoint file...look for the PowerPoint Icon)

Make sure the file is attached!

Click TURN IN at the top!
